I’m Curtis, and I’m terrible at making these.
I’ve done almost every job in post audio for film/television for over a decade now, so I’m not bad at it anymore. I really love projects that allow me to collaborate with the creators and elevate the sound to a level that surprises us, and reminds us why we decided to get into storytelling in the first place. I want the intended audience to get as much out of the finished product as the creator hoped when it was first conceived; or at least have the money people pay me enough so that I can afford bread. If you have a project and want to take the audio to the next level, or just need someone to take bad sound and “make it work”, I’m happy to do both and everything in between. We’re here to tell stories, not cure cancer.
The usual whatever stuff: Based in Los Angeles, raised in Seattle, born in east coast USA. Graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. I mostly use Pro Tools, which I’m pretty awesome with, but I can use Audacity and FL Studio, sorta. When I’m not working on audio projects I’m either sleeping, eating all the things, training for some ridiculous running race, binging cat videos, or looking for more audio projects to work on.
